Our Rottweilers are selected specifically to ensure that they meet ADRK standards for temperament, character and working ability. Soundness in mind, form and function. Breeding for us is an enjoyable hobby, Our passion and devotion is for Rottweilers. We invest all we can into our dogs to make sure they receive the fullest amount in care, consideration and have the ability to grow appropriately. Ruben's beliefs in breeding and training working Rottweilers have played a pivotal role in challenging other breeders, trainers and competitors alike to "raise the bar". Their influence can be seen throughout the US. The vom Aztlan dogs are truly well-rounded without sacrificing any of the extreme drive and working ability the best Rottweilers are known for.

vom Aztlan Rottweilers is committed to the complete show and working Rottweiler that shines in the dogs we produce, our on-going involvement in dog sports, and the unique relationships we build with our puppy buyers.

We breed type to type vs. trying to make type. Our dogs have dominant faces filled with power and strength. They are fit and muscular, with extreme cheekbone. Their features consist of short muzzles, powerful hind quarters, extreme fill under the eyes, and powerful necks and shoulders. Their faces are large with full and defined features.

We are a very proud and active member of the ADRK. In addition to shouldering the responsibility for maintaining the breed and its integrity in Germany, the ADRK serves as the breed warden for the Rottweiler throughout the world. Having witnessed in Germany for years, we have participated in the dedication and commitment to the Rottweiler that the German people exude. In Germany, your Rottweiler is more than a pet, it is a working partner and a TRUE member of the household. The Rottweiler is welcome on the streets, in restaurants, on the train, and in friend's homes. In Germany, the Rottweiler is truly man's best friend.

The Ztp (Breed Suitability Test) is the Cornerstone of Rottweiler Breeding

The United States Rottweiler Club (USRC) is the original Rottweiler Klub of North America and calls the test the BST (Breed Suitability Test) and the ADRK calls the test the Ztp. The Ztp and BST are basically the same breed suitability test. Qualified ADRK judges evaluate the dogs and a written critique of the entire test is provided to the owner.

The German System for breeding has become an unrivaled system of identifying and promoting the absolute BEST breeding candidates. It has been this system that has allow the ADRK to continue to make strides in the advancement and betterment of the all-around Rottweiler. It goes without saying that the German commitment to schutzhund as a sport and as a true temperament test for the working ability of the dog is unparalleled! Being home to both the German Shephard Dog and the Rottweiler, Deutschland (as the Germans call it) is the motherland of Schutzhund, and their commitment to the sport is unmatched throughout the world.

For those new to the breed, we would like to offer a couple words. Please be aware that many breeders will tell you that European Rottweilers or European bloodlines are the same or equal to German bred Rottweilers. This is not correct. Only German born dogs have been bred by the strictest standards in the world. Most European countries do not have required breeding standards. In addition, beware of breeders who tell you they breed German Rottweilers. Most do not - they breed European and/or American lines with a few German dogs scattered in the pedigree. The importance of a dogs pedigree cannot be stressed enough.

We are Rottweiler enthusiasts that spare no expense in our breedings. We re-invest in our dogs to bring Germany's most complete high caliber show and working Rottweilers. We breed most importantly for temperament and character. We take no shortcuts like many others that bring in the rejected failed European imports that lack the temperament and charachter to pass a Ztp (Breed Suitabilty Test). A complete Rottweiler is more than the power and a big bulging head. A Rottweiler is also a confident, athletic, agile, elegant dog with balanced character. Ready to work but stable and clear enough to relax and watch TV with the family. Don't get me wrong I breed for the power dog, but what good is a beautiful Rottweiler that lacks under the hood or is scared of its own shadow. All of our Rottweilers are proven in the schutzhund field show ring winning some of the most prestigious titles, All of our Rottweilers have a Ztp and working titles, this is a self imposed strict guideline required by the ADRK for all German breeders and is what makes the German Rottweiler so unique and valuable.

Finally, when looking for a Rottweiler, please seek out a Code of Ethics breeder and make sure that BOTH parents have a ZtP/BST. The Ztp/BST is VERY important to the Rottweiler community as it requires that dogs being breed are truly worthy of the opportunity.

About Wenka:

We have recently imported our newest Pink Papered German Import a super strong bitch from ADRK Head Judge Werner Walter of the world famous VOM KRESSBACH Kennels in Germany. We introduce WENKA VOM KRESSBACH BH, SchH/VPG1, ZTP (breed Suitability Test). Wenka is HD-frei (excellent) and ED+, multi V-1 rated in conformation.

Wenka is a strong, medium to large, compact bitch with a strong typey head piece, strong cheek bone, strong bone, black mouth pigmentation, very dark brown eyes (2A), short broad muzzle and strong powerful movement. She is very self-confident and loves people and children. Wenka is proven in the show ring, she is V1 rated in Germany. In addition to having the beauty she obtained her working titles BH,ZTP and SchH/VPG1.

Both of Wenka's parents and all four of her grandparents are all schutzhund titled, and also multi V-1 rated in the show. Wenka's sire is the world known AKINO VON DER LAUTERBRUCKE SchH/VPG3,IPO3, AD, BH, ZTP, Gek bis Eza Korung. Akino is one of Germany's top producing males. He has consistently produced multiple V-1 rated dogs in Germany and abroad. Also has made his imprint in the Rottweiler world with powerful elegant progeny with conformation and strong working drives. Today the most notable Akino offspring is JOSY VON DEN HASSBERGHOHEN, DIVA VON DER KONIGSKANZEL, CUJO VON DER BURG WEIBERTREU and a grandson GINO VON DER BERGHALBINSEL that are dominating the show scene all over the world.

Not very many if at all are completely titled dogs with a ZTP are ever exported out of Germany. That is because it is a very difficult Breed Suitability Title to achieve. It is required in order to breed in Germany. It is a temperament test that requires obedience and protection work as well as critiqued to meet the standard. Any shyness, nervousness or overly aggressive dogs are disqualified. As well as dogs that do not meet the strict German Rottweiler Standard. It is for that reason that we are ecstatic to be able to own such a high quality pink papered official German bred Rottweiler!

Schutzhund (german for protection dog) is a dog sport that was developed in Germany in the early 1900s to test whether dogs act and perform in the manner that the breed was intended, rather than simply evaluating a dog's appearance. Today, many breeds can compete in Schutzhund, but it is a demanding test for any dog and few of them can pass this kind of test.
